Religious Sites

This collection highlights the diverse architectural and spiritual landscape of Ilidža and its surroundings. It features the King Fahd Mosque, one of the largest religious structures in the Balkans, alongside the historic wooden War Mosque on Mount Igman, built during the 1990s conflict. The list also includes the 19th-century Orthodox Church of St. Sava in Blažuj and several Catholic sites, such as the Stup Church of the Assumption and the Carmelite monastery, reflecting the multi-confessional heritage of the region.
