Erice Essentials

Torre di Re Federico

Torri del Balio

These Norman towers were originally connected to the Castle of Venus by a drawbridge and served as the fortified residence for the town's governor, or 'Baile'.

The primary medieval entrance to the town, integrated into the ancient Cyclopean walls which date back to the Punic era and feature massive limestone blocks.
