Kanchanaburi's Essential Historical and Spiritual Journey

The Bridge on the River Kwai

Death Railway Museum and Research Centre

The Thailand–Burma Railway Centre is a museum and research centre in Kanchanaburi, Thailand.

The JEATH War Museum

This museum features a replica of a prisoner-of-war bamboo hut and displays photographs, tools, and firsthand accounts documenting the living conditions during the construction of the Death Railway.

Wat Tham Khao Pun

A limestone cave temple containing several chambers with Buddha images and stalactites. The site was utilized by the Japanese army as a storage facility and field hospital during WWII.

War Monument Catholic Church

A memorial church located near the railway line, dedicated to the victims of the Death Railway and serving as a place of reflection for the diverse communities affected by the war.
