Kangaroo Valley Essentials

Kangaroo Valley is home to the historic Hampden Bridge, Australia's last surviving Victorian-era suspension bridge. The region features dramatic waterfalls like the triple-tiered Belmore Falls and the 50-meter plunge of Carrington Falls. Visitors can explore the Pioneer Village Museum to see 19th-century colonial buildings or kayak the Kangaroo River from Bendeela, a known habitat for wild wombats. Scenic lookouts at Manning and Drawing Room Rock provide views over the Illawarra escarpment, while Nellie's Glen offers a natural rock pool for swimming.
