Historic Mosques

Kayseri serves as a significant center for Seljuk and Ottoman architecture in Central Anatolia. This collection highlights the region's spiritual landscape, ranging from the 12th-century Danishmend Ulu Cami to the 17th-century Kara Mustafa Pasha complex in İncesu. These structures showcase characteristic Anatolian stonework, monumental portals, and traditional hypostyle layouts, reflecting the religious and social development of the province from the medieval period through the late Ottoman era.
