Kerman Nature Escapes

Kerman’s diverse landscapes range from the arid Lut Desert to high-altitude waterfalls and lush Persian gardens. The UNESCO-listed Shahzadeh Garden showcases traditional Qajar-era irrigation and design, while the FathAbad Garden offers similar historical architecture in Ekhtiarabad. Geological highlights include the extinct Kaleh Namaki volcano and the tiered Simak waterfalls. Near the medieval Rayen Citadel, the Rayen Waterfall drops from the slopes of Mount Hezar, while the Ancient City of Keshit preserves archaeological ruins beside a desert oasis.
