Kittilä's Must-See Wonders

Kittilä centers on the Levi resort, Finland’s largest ski area, but extends into the vast wilderness of Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. The region features the 1831 C.L. Engel-designed wooden church, one of the few structures to survive the Lapland War. Natural highlights include the Aakenustunturi fell viewpoints, the Ruoppaköngäs rock formations, and the birdwatching tower at Akanrimpi. Cultural hubs range from the Tonttula Elves Village to the Hullu Poro Areena, a major venue for live performances.
