Island Waterfalls
Ko Samui's interior features several distinct cascades, including Na Muang, the island's tallest waterfall. While Na Muang 1 is easily accessible with a large natural swimming pool, the higher Na Muang 2 requires a steeper climb. For a more spiritual experience, Wat Hin Lad sits at the start of a two-kilometer jungle trail leading to the multi-level Hin Lat Waterfall. Tan Rua, hidden in the northern jungle, is accessible via a forest path near a canopy walkway and treehouse cafe.
Na Muang Waterfall
This is the highest waterfall on the island. Easily accessible by motorbike, this scenic place makes for a perfect trip.
Hin Lad Waterfall Temple
A forest monastery and temple situated at the start of the trail to Hin Lat Waterfall. The grounds feature bridges and meditation areas set along the stream.
Tan Rua
Also known as the Secret Waterfall, this site is located in the jungle near Maenam. It is reached via a short walk from a nearby treehouse cafe and zipline center.
Hin Lat Waterfall
A multi-level cascade reached by a two-kilometer jungle trail. The path follows the river through dense forest, leading to several natural pools suitable for swimming.
Namuang 1 Waterfall
The lower section of the Na Muang cascades features an 18-meter drop into a wide natural pool. It is the most accessible of the island's major falls, located directly next to the parking area.
