The Cordillera Real mountain range near La Paz features several of Bolivia's most accessible high-altitude summits. Huayna Potosí stands at 6,088 meters, known for its iconic pyramid shape and technical ice climbing routes. The Kunturiri massif is notable for its glacier-fed lagoons and dramatic scenery. Nearby, Chacaltaya offers views from 5,421 meters at the site of a former glacier, once home to the world's highest ski resort, while Jist'aña, or Pirámide Blanca, rises to 5,260 meters within this rugged Andean landscape.
