North Lebanon encompasses diverse landmarks ranging from the UNESCO-listed Cedars of God and the monastic retreats of the Qadisha Valley to the coastal history of Batroun. The region features the 12th-century Citadel of Tripoli and the modernistic Rachid Karami International Fair, designed by Oscar Niemeyer.
