Cyprus Museum

Oldest and largest archaeological museum, housing the world's most extensive collection of Cypriot antiquities. It showcases the development of civilization from the Neolithic Age to the Early Byzantine period through artifacts discovered during systematic excavations.

Famagusta Gate

Well-preserved historic city gate built in 1567 as part of the Venetian fortifications. It has been restored to serve as a cultural center and exhibition venue.

Shacolas Tower Museum & Observatory

Observatory and history museum featuring 360-degree panoramic views. It contains historical exhibits, archival photography, and telescopes detailing the city's chronological development.

Cyprus Classic Motorcycle Museum

Transport museum housing over 450 motorcycles from 1914 to 1983, including rare models with significant cultural and political ties to the region.

Leventis Gallery

Art gallery housing a private collection of over 800 European, Greek, and Cypriot paintings. The collection includes works ranging from the 17th to the 20th century.

Turkish Museum

Fascinating exhibit in a monastery of the Islamic Mevlevi order. There is a lot to see, including the coffins of several sheiks.

Greek Independence War Gallery

Devoted to the 1821 struggle. Holds mainly artworks, maps and wood engravings.

European Art Gallery

One of the wings of the complex holds a fine collection of European artworks, mainly with religious themes.
