Lisse's Floral and Cultural Essentials

Lisse is the heart of the Dutch bulb region, anchored by the world-famous Keukenhof Gardens and the 17th-century Keukenhof Castle. The town's heritage is preserved at Museum de Zwarte Tulp, which details the history of tulip cultivation. The surrounding landscape features a high concentration of historic polder mills, including the 1676 Lisserpoelmolen and the 1654 Hoogeveensemolen.
