Luxembourg City’s formidable military history earned it the moniker 'Gibraltar of the North.' This selection highlights the remnants of its UNESCO-listed fortifications, including the Bock Casemates' 17-kilometer network of subterranean tunnels and the 18th-century Fort Thüngen.
