Natural Wonders of Malá Fatra

Šútovský Waterfall

Šútovský vodopad is a waterfall in Slovakia located in the Malá Fatra mountains, 4 kilometres north of the town of Šútovo.

Rozsutec

National Nature Reserve established in 1967, encompassing the distinctive limestone and dolomite peaks of Veľký and Malý Rozsutec. The area is home to rare plant species and diverse karst formations.

Šútovská dolina

A protected glacial valley on the southern slopes of the Krivánska Malá Fatra, leading to the Šútovský Waterfall.

Kľacký vodopád

A 30-meter high waterfall in the Lúčanská Malá Fatra, designated as a national natural monument. It is located on the slopes of the Kľak peak.

Chleb

The third highest peak of Malá Fatra, reaching 1,647 meters. Located on the main ridge, it offers views of the Turiec Basin and the neighboring peaks of Veľký Kriváň and Chleb.

Kľak

Domašínsky meander

A significant river meander on the Váh river that carves through the Strečno gorge, geologically dividing the Malá Fatra into the Krivánska and Lúčanská sections.
