Mayrhofen Essentials

Mayrhofen serves as a central hub in the Zillertal Alps, defined by the Penkenbahn and Ahornbahn cable cars which provide access to high-altitude terrain. The area features the historic Berliner Hütte, a protected monument dating back to 1879, and the 2,973-meter Ahornspitze. Erlebnissennerei Zillertal

High-altitude birds of prey station located at 2,000 meters on Mount Ahorn. It hosts regular falconry demonstrations featuring eagles, falcons, and owls.

Teufelsbrücke

Historic wooden bridge spanning the Tuxbach gorge. Originally built in 1876, this timber structure is a notable example of traditional Alpine engineering.
