Molise Must-Sees

Molise's landscape is defined by strategic medieval fortifications and ancient Samnite heritage. This selection features the 13th-century Castello Svevo in Termoli, the hilltop Castello Monforte in Campobasso, and the Baronale Carafa in Ferrazzano. Historical depth is provided by the Samnite monuments of Pietrabbondante and the Pontificia Fonderia Marinelli in Agnone, the world's oldest bell foundry.
