Mountain Huts & Peaks

This collection focuses on the high-altitude terrain of the Čvrsnica and Prenj massifs within the Dinaric Alps near Mostar. It features Pločno, the highest peak of Čvrsnica at 2,228 meters, alongside a network of essential mountain infrastructure. These sites include managed lodges like Adnan Krilić at Bijele Vode and high-altitude bivouacs like the shelter under Veliki Kuk, providing critical base points for navigating the rugged karst landscape.

Pločno

The highest peak of the Čvrsnica massif, reaching an elevation of 2,228 meters. The summit features a telecommunications facility and provides a vantage point over the surrounding Dinaric Alps.

Pl. dom Vilinac

Mountain lodge situated at 1,900 meters on the Čvrsnica plateau. It is a key rest point for hikers traversing the range and those visiting the nearby Hajdučka Vrata natural stone arch.

Bivak pod Velikim Kukom

Basic, free wilderness shelter located at the foot of the 1,000-meter-high Veliki Kuk rock face. It provides essential emergency cover for climbers and hikers in the Diva Grabovica valley.

Mountain Lodge Adnan Krilic

Managed alpine lodge located at Bijele Vode on Mount Prenj. It offers dormitory-style accommodation and serves as a primary base for ascents toward the Zelena Glava and Otiš peaks.

Kontejner Poljice

A basic metal container shelter located in the Poljice area of the Prenj massif, providing emergency protection for mountaineers in remote karst terrain.
