The area consists of reclaimed sewage fields transformed into a diverse wetland ecosystem featuring shallow water zones, wet meadows, and reed beds. The list highlights specific protected biotopes and strategically placed observation towers and hides that allow for the discreet viewing of over 300 recorded bird species, including rare waders and migratory birds, within their natural habitat.
