The Muránska Planina plateau is defined by its extensive karst formations, including over 300 caves and numerous limestone abysses. This collection highlights secluded sites like the Ľadová jama ice pit and the Bobačka cave system, alongside traditional wooden shelters like Nižná Kľaková. Wesselényi's cave

A karst cave named after Baron Miklós Wesselényi, located in the limestone cliffs near the ruins of Muráň Castle.

Ľadová jama na Muránskej planine

A 30-meter deep vertical abyss where cold air trapping allows ice and snow to persist throughout the summer months.

Salaš na Randavici
