Mývatn Nature Attractions

Lake Mývatn is a volcanic region in northern Iceland known for its diverse geological features. This list includes the Grjótagjá lava cave, which houses a thermal spring and served as a filming location for Game of Thrones. Nearby, the Dimmuborgir lava fields feature towering rock formations created by ancient volcanic activity.
