Olimpos Beydağları National Park Essentials

Stretching along the Mediterranean coast, this national park encompasses the ancient Lycian cities of Phaselis and Olympos, featuring preserved Roman theaters and aqueducts. The landscape is defined by the 2,366-meter Tahtalı Dağı and the deep Göynük Canyon. Natural phenomena include the eternal methane flames of Chimaera and the nesting grounds for Caretta caretta sea turtles at Çıralı Beach.
