Phatthalung’s spiritual landscape is defined by historical landmarks and natural sanctuaries. This collection features the Phra Phuttha Nirarokhantrai Chaiyawat Chaturathit, one of four sacred images commissioned by King Rama IX, and the monument of Phraya Thukkharat, a monk-hero of the 1785 Nine Armies War. Architectural highlights include the early Rattanakosin-era murals of Wat Wang and the occult traditions of Wat Khao O. Natural sites like Sumano Cave Temple offer meditation spaces within limestone caverns, reflecting the province's deep-rooted Buddhist heritage.
