Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Essentials
This UNESCO World Heritage site in Central Vietnam contains the oldest karst mountains in Asia, dating back over 400 million years. The park protects a complex system of 300 caves, including Son Doong, the world's largest, and Hang En, the third largest. Visitors can navigate underground rivers by boat in Phong Nha Cave, explore the massive stalactite galleries of Paradise Cave, or trek through tropical forests to historical sites and natural springs like Suoi Nuoc Mooc.
Tien Son cave
Located 200 meters above Phong Nha Cave, this dry cave features limestone formations and marble-like stone pillars. It is reached via a steep staircase that provides views of the Son and Chay rivers.
