Charming Beaches and Coasts

Salento’s coastline features a mix of white sandy beaches on the Ionian Sea and dramatic limestone cliffs along the Adriatic. This selection includes the shallow, turquoise waters of Pescoluse, the historic landing site of Aeneas at Porto Badisco, and the pine-fringed shores of Baia dei Turchi. Key landmarks include 16th-century Spanish watchtowers at Torre Lapillo and Torre Pali, alongside well-equipped beach resorts near Gallipoli and Otranto.

Famous for fine white sand and shallow, clear waters in Marina di Pescoluse. The area is characterized by low dunes and is often compared to Caribbean landscapes.
