Best of Rapperswil

Rapperswil, known as the "Town of Roses," features gardens with over 600 varieties. The historic center is defined by the 13th-century Rapperswil Castle and the Lindenhof moraine hill. A significant architectural feature is the Holzsteg, a wooden pilgrimage bridge crossing Lake Zurich. Cultural institutions include the Kunst(Zeug)Haus modern art gallery in a former armory, the Polish Museum, and a dedicated museum for Switzerland's Circus Knie.
