The Samoborsko Gorje range, part of the Žumberak-Samoborsko Gorje Nature Park, features a dense network of trails connecting prominent peaks like Oštrc and Japetić. Hikers can find traditional mountain huts, including the 19th-century Šoićeva kuća and the high-altitude Žitnica, which provide local refreshments and lodging along the routes.
