Sacred Sites

San Miguel de Allende and its surroundings feature architecturally significant landmarks ranging from the pink sandstone, neo-Gothic towers of the Parroquia San Miguel Arcángel to the UNESCO-listed Sanctuary of Atotonilco, renowned for its 18th-century Baroque murals. The Oratorio de San Felipe Neri offers insight into colonial history, having evolved from an indigenous sanctuary.
