Legends and Historical Sites

This collection features significant archaeological and religious landmarks around Selçuk and Ephesus. It includes the House of the Virgin Mary, a major Christian pilgrimage site, and the legendary Cave of the Seven Sleepers. Great Theatre

Located on the slopes of Mount Pion in Ephesus, this massive open-air structure accommodated up to 25,000 spectators. Originally built in the Hellenistic period and expanded by the Romans, it served as a venue for drama, gladiator combats, and political assemblies.

Cave of the Seven Sleepers

Not far away from Ephesus, this cave is believed to be a place where the legendary Seven Sleepers hid in order to avoid prosecution.

Keçi Kalesi

A Byzantine-era fortification situated on a steep ridge of the Alaman Mountain. It overlooks the Küçük Menderes valley and served as a strategic watchtower for the region. The site is accessible via a demanding uphill hike.
