Lorestan Province, situated in the heart of the Zagros Mountains, is defined by its dramatic topography and ancient Sassanid-era architecture. The region features the Falak-ol-Aflak Castle, a massive hilltop fortification in Khorramabad, and the historic Pol Dokhtar Bridge. Abshar afrynh

A wide waterfall located at the confluence of the Cheshmeh-Mahi and Afrineh rivers. It is situated near the village of Afrineh on the highway connecting Khorramabad to Pol-e Dokhtar.

Ghaleh Hatam Castle
