Coastal Views & Parks

Explore the Noosa Headland and surrounding coastal reserves through a series of established walking tracks. This collection spans from the wheelchair-accessible Boiling Pot to the rugged cliffs of Hell's Gates and Devils Kitchen. The list includes the elevated Laguna Lookout for views of the Glass House Mountains and the Cooloola Section’s Mount Seawah. These locations provide vantage points for spotting migratory humpback whales and resident pods of bottlenose dolphins along the granite headlands.

A

Boiling Pot

A granite rock formation where tidal surges churn in a hollowed-out outcrop. This wheelchair-accessible lookout is the first major stop on the Noosa National Park Coastal Walk.

Hell's Gates

A prominent high bluff at the eastern tip of the Noosa headland. The deep chasm is a frequent site for spotting migratory humpback whales from June to November.

Dolphin Point

Elevated granite headland offering views over Alexandria Bay. It serves as a primary vantage point for observing pods of dolphins in the surf below.

A rugged, rocky inlet located at the southeastern corner of the Noosa National Park coastal track, characterized by steep cliffs and high-energy surf.
