This collection showcases the spiritual and architectural heritage of Upper Carinthia, centered around Spittal an der Drau and Millstatt. It includes the ancient foundations of Molzbichl—Carinthia's oldest monastery site—and the Romanesque mastery of Millstatt Abbey with its dedicated chapels. From the hilltop Wolfgangskirche overlooking the Millstätter See ridge to the Stadtpfarrkirche near Schloss Porcia, these sites represent centuries of history, from early Christian settlements to the medieval influence of the Benedictines and the Order of St. George.
