Mellieħa's coastline features a diverse range of swimming spots, from the extensive sandy stretch of Mellieħa Bay, Malta's longest beach, to the secluded, facility-free shores of Imgiebah Bay. The area includes the 1980 film set of Popeye Village, which offers seaside attractions and boat tours. This selection also covers the natural landscapes of Riviera Beach, the accessible sands of Golden Bay, and the clear waters of Paradise Bay and Little Armier Beach.

Popeye Village

Open-air seaside resort and theme park originally built as the film set for the 1980 musical production Popeye. It features family-friendly attractions, water activities, boat tours, and live shows.

Mellieha Bay

Malta's longest beach. Great for children because of the terrain. An ideal place for various sports.

Paradise Bay

One of the most famed sandy beaches in Malta. Popular with the younger crowd.

Riviera Beach

A sandy beach set against natural clay slopes, accessed via a long flight of stone steps.

Golden Bay

A wide sandy beach with easy road access and a variety of facilities, located on the northwest coast.

Imgiebah Bay

Remote and secluded beach, perfect for enjoying peace and the beautiful natural surroundings. There are no facilities.

Little Armier Beach

A small sandy beach on the northern tip of Malta, offering views of the neighboring islands of Gozo and Comino.
