Vipiteno Essentials
Vipiteno, known as Sterzing in German, is characterized by its late medieval layout and high-altitude alpine setting. A Schloss Sprechenstein
A medieval castle situated at 1,073 meters. The complex includes a 13th-century Romanesque keep and a later Gothic palace, overlooking the Sterzing basin.
B Zwölferturm - Torre delle dodici
A 46-meter-high granite tower completed in 1472. It serves as the gateway between the Old and New Towns and remains the city's tallest landmark.
