This collection spans Tamil Nadu’s diverse landscapes, from the 7th-century UNESCO-listed rock-cut temples of Mahabalipuram to the high-altitude botanical gardens of Ooty. Mahabalipuram Monuments

Collection of 7th and 8th-century rock-cut cave temples, monolithic chariots, and structural temples. These monuments were built by the Pallava dynasty and represent early developments in South Indian religious architecture.

Government Botanical Garden

Terraced gardens established in 1848 on the slopes of Doddabetta peak. It houses exotic and indigenous plant species, a rare cork tree, and a 20-million-year-old fossilized tree trunk.
