Texel serves as a vital stopover on the East Atlantic Flyway, hosting over 300 bird species annually. This collection highlights key observation points across the island's diverse ecosystems, from the tidal salt marshes of De Slufter to the spoonbill colonies in De Geul. These locations feature specialized bird hides and elevated platforms positioned to view breeding avocets, Sandwich terns, and migratory waders within the National Park Dunes of Texel and along the Wadden Sea dikes.
