Historic Buildings and Memorials

Noordeinde Palace

Noordeinde Palace is one of three official palaces of the Dutch royal family.

Nationaal Onafhankelijkheidsmonument

Located at Plein 1813, this monument commemorates the restoration of Dutch independence in 1813 and the founding of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. It features a bronze statue of the Dutch Virgin and the three founding fathers.

De Drie Stoepen

'Bevrijdingsmonument Irene'

'Centraal Monument voor Gevallen PTT'ers'

Located on Nassauplein, this monument honors the employees of the Dutch postal and telecommunications services who lost their lives during World War II.
