Toledo Essentials

Toledo showcases the historical convergence of Christian, Jewish, and Muslim traditions. This selection features the 13th-century Gothic Cathedral, the Renaissance Alcázar fortress, and the Isabelline Gothic Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes. The city’s Sephardic heritage is preserved at the Synagogue of El Tránsito and Santa María la Blanca. El Greco’s artistic legacy is highlighted at his namesake museum and the Church of Santo Tomé.
