Coastal Escapes

This collection features the maritime landmarks of Hoi An and the UNESCO-recognized Cham Islands Biosphere Reserve. It highlights Cua Dai Beach, situated at the confluence of three rivers, and the white sands of Bai Ong on Hon Lao island. The selection focuses on navigational heritage, including the French-era Cu Lao Cham lighthouse and the coastal beacons at Cua Dai and Tan Hiep that serve the region's fishing and trading vessels.

Cua Dai Beach

Situated at the confluence of the Thu Bon, Truong Giang, and De Vong rivers, this white sand beach offers views of the Cham Islands. The area has undergone significant coastal restoration to manage erosion along the shoreline.

Bai Ong beach

The most developed beach on Hon Lao island, featuring a crescent-shaped coastline lined with coconut palms. It serves as a primary location for local seafood dining and arrivals for island boat tours.

Cua Dai Lighthouse

A navigational beacon located at the mouth of the Cua Dai River, guiding maritime traffic between the sea and Hoi An’s inland river network.

Hải đăng Cù Lao Chàm

A French-built lighthouse dating to the late 19th century, positioned on the eastern cliffs of Hon Lao island to guide vessels navigating the East Sea.

Hải đăng Tân Hiệp

A coastal lighthouse located near the main pier of Tan Hiep village on the Cham Islands, supporting local fishing fleets and ferry transit.
