High Tatras Essentials

The High Tatras contain Gerlachovský štít, the highest peak in the Carpathian Mountains, alongside iconic granite summits like Kriváň and Lomnický štít. The region is defined by over 100 glacial lakes, including the 53-meter-deep Veľké Hincovo pleso and the accessible Štrbské pleso.
