Waiheke Island’s network of reserves encompasses diverse ecosystems, from the salt marshes and dotterel nesting grounds of Whakanewha Regional Park to the mature kauri stands of the interior. This collection spans the island’s varied topography, including historic World War II observation posts, sculpture-filled urban parks like Alison Park, and elevated peaks such as Puke ō kai.
