Würzburg Parks and Gardens

Würzburg’s green spaces range from the formal Baroque Hofgarten at the UNESCO-listed Residenz to the Ringpark, a 19th-century green belt encircling the old town. This collection includes the secluded Lusamgärtchen, the burial site of medieval poet Walther von der Vogelweide, and themed areas like the Japanese Garden. Historic fountains, such as the 18th-century Vierröhrenbrunnen and the Chronos-Brunnen, add architectural detail to these urban retreats and public squares.
