Historical Landmarks of Yogyakarta

Yogyakarta’s historical landscape features a blend of Hindu, Buddhist, and Islamic influences alongside Dutch colonial remnants. This collection includes the 9th-century Prambanan Hindu temple and the Sewu Buddhist complex. It also features the Kraton, the operational palace of the Sultan, and the 18th-century Fort Vredeburg.
