Waterfalls and Lakes

Yoho National Park features a dense collection of glacial lakes and high-altitude waterfalls shaped by the rugged terrain of the Canadian Rockies. This selection includes Takakkaw Falls, one of Canada's highest cascades at 373 meters, and the turquoise Emerald Lake, the park's largest body of water. The list also covers the restricted-access Lake O'Hara region, known for its fragile alpine ecosystem, and the wide, powerful curtain of Wapta Falls on the Kicking Horse River.
