Zermatt Alpine Huts

This collection features high-altitude accommodations surrounding Zermatt, ranging from the modern, sustainable Monte Rosa Hut to the Capanna Regina Margherita—Europe’s highest building at 4,554 meters. These sites include both full-service Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) huts and remote emergency bivouacs like the Solvay Hut on the Matterhorn’s Hörnli ridge.
