These baths harp back to a mystical Byzantine period when the Moors ruled over Spain.
The Baths consist of two small brick built rooms. Just outside of the baths there are some lush gardens containing cactus, ferns, palm trees and flowers.
The bath house itself houses a “Cupola” which is a dome like structure that lets in both air and light and there are also 5 circular windows known as Oculi. The Banys Arabs have no floor, as it has been worn away over the centuries. However you can clearly see where the underfloor heating system was supposed to be.
