Historically the very first shopping arcade in the city.
It was built with the aim to create a glamorous shopping space similar to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Milan. It was built in 1891 but it still retains its glitz and beauty. No wonder that it is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register.
