沥青坑博物馆

拉布雷亚沥青坑是位于美国加利福尼亚州洛杉矶汉考克公园附近的一组天然沥青坑。它不仅是加利福尼亚州历史地标，也是美国国家自然地标。

因为其上常常覆盖有树叶、灰尘或水等遮蔽物，动物等很容易失足陷入其中，因而数世纪以来积累了大量的动物骨骸、化石。沥青坑边上有专门用来研究沥青坑和展览坑中发现的动物标本的乔治·C·佩奇博物馆。其名称实际上语义重复，因为“the La Brea Tar Pits”字面直译是“the the tar tar pits”。
