A remarkable quiet park just around the corner from St. Paul's Cathedral. It opened in 1880 on the site of a former burial ground of St Botolph's Aldersgate church and now it contains the adjacent burial grounds of two other churches.
It also includes the Watts's Memorial to Heroic Self Sacrifice which includes more than 50 plaques commemorating ordinary people who died while saving the lives of others.
Open daily from 8 am to 7 pm or until dusk.
Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
