Fenda de Nossa Senhora
A 5-meter-wide natural rock fissure in the cliffs of Ilha do Farol, accessible only by boat. It houses a statue of the Virgin Mary, commemorating a 1721 discovery by local fishermen.
Igreja de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios
Built in 1506, this is one of the oldest churches in Brazil. It features simple colonial architecture and was the site of the country's first indoor mass.
