Religious Heritage

Barichara’s religious landscape is defined by 18th and 19th-century colonial architecture, primarily constructed from the region’s characteristic ochre-colored stone. This collection includes the central cathedral, notable for its ten monolithic columns, and smaller hilltop chapels like Santa Bárbara. Catedral de la inmaculada concepción
